About Alyssa
Alyssa Peyton is a NYC based musical theatre actor and director from Houston, Texas. She has a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Tampa and is currently taking classes in theatre and comedy writing through Columbia University's Arts in the Summer program.
As a director, Alyssa's philosophy centers around fostering an environment of inclusivity and collaboration. She believes in the importance of intimacy coordination to ensure that every performer feels safe and respected. She is passionate about working on shows that challenge traditional narratives, giving voice to diverse stories and perspectives, specifically women's stories.
Onstage, she is a versatile and sweet triple threat with genuine Texas charm. She's performed with various theaters in Houston and Tampa, as well as Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas. Alyssa recently made her NYC cabaret debut in The 54ONY's at 54 Below and looks forward to many more!
