Alyssa Peyton is a New York City based and Houston, Texas raised multi-hyphenate artist. She has a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Tampa and recently took courses in theatre and comedy writing through Columbia University's Arts in the Summer program. She is entering her film/TV era as well, having done background work in the Netflix film Look Both Ways, a commercial for Instagram, and the Paramount+ show Dexter: Resurrection.
Upcoming this summer, Alyssa is so excited to make her stage management debut in Majority Rules: An American Musical by Jillian Hetherman, Charlene Tashnizi, and Ashley Guan. Performances will be at The Chain Theatre from August 25-30, 2026.
Alyssa will also be directing a reading of the new musical, Tame the Noise, by Benjamin Walton, in Milky Way Theatre Company's New Works Festival 2026. Performances will be this September at The Tank NYC.
She is the founder of Candy Hearts Productions, a new company focused on providing artists with performance opportunities and expanding their circle of artists. CHP performed their debut cabaret, I Played That in High School!: Revisiting Roles from Educational Theatre at The Green Room 42 in March and is looking forward to future projects!
In her free time, Alyssa loves going line dancing, online shopping, catching a Broadway show, rewatching her favorite shows, and FaceTiming her parents a little too often.
